Chloe’s Love Bracelet
One of the things I have learned as a young entrepreneur is that the people you spend time with are really important. Their ambition can be the thing that inspires you to try harder and their kindness can be what picks you up when you’re having a hard time. I have known Chloe since before I can remember, and her journey as a young entrepreneur and my best friend is so inspiring to me. I asked if she would let me interview her for this issue so that the So What?? fam could fall as in love with her as I have been for my whole life so far.
Without further ado, I introduce Chloe Rondon and Chloe’s Love Bracelet.
MM: When did we become best friends?
CR: We became friends at such a young age (toddlers). We loved each other and matched each other's energy within a blink of an eye. And we still bond the same way. ❤️
MM: What do you think the definition of best friend is?
CR: To me, a best friend is someone who you can feel the most free around and can talk to whenever you need to without being judged and have the best time with them whenever you need and want to.
MM: What made you want to start Chloe's Love Bracelet?
CR: I wanted to start Chloe’s Love Bracelet because it made me feel happy. I enjoy creating new designs for people to wear on themselves and getting credit for it. I really wanted to start this brand because it made me happy and I knew I'd be making people feel the same. Giving back was also a big thing for me and I love to support New York-based organizations by donating a percentage of my sales. For example, at my last pop up I was able to support One Love Community Fridge.
MM: How do Chloe's Love Bracelets work? Do you make them all custom or do you have a signature bracelet?
CR: Well, there is a system. We start by making a few bracelets similar to others, and some different patterns as well. When I have a pop up, the custom bracelets become an option, and I can take orders from people who prefer to customize their own, rather than a bracelet that was made already. Although, I have an Instagram account where I accept orders as well.
MM: What inspires you?
CR: Many things inspire me including, “So What??” ! To add on, what really inspires me is the idea of creating a community through my jewelry. As well as my trips! I want people to notice when a piece of mine is on a friend or a customer, and they’ll soon be reminded, oh, that’s Chloe’s Love Bracelet, then they’ll know that my brand is the kind that is surrounded by and attracts good and kind people. That are treated like family and friends🩷
MM: Are they friendship bracelets?
CR: In a way, I’d like to say that they are bracelets that can signify friendship but not necessarily are!
MM: What qualities do you look for in a best friend?
CR: I surround myself with friends who make me feel welcome, turn me into a person I dont know myself to be, let me be free and feel like my most fun, most silly, and open and honest person. They need to match that and make me feel that way! Like you bestie ❤️
MM: Why are you so beautiful?
CR: My MOMMYYYY and because of the people I surround myself with!
